Keeley's is a family-run group of daycare nurseries and pre-schools, offering high quality childcare for children aged three months to five years. Our vision is to provide a happy, safe and stimulating learning environment, where all children are encouraged to develop their creativity, individuality and self-confidence.
At Keeley's we're proud to be embarking on implementing The Curiosity Approach in our nurseries. The Curiosity Approach is an inspirational "modern day approach to Early Childhood" that is underpinned by the Early Years Foundation Stage. It takes lessons from a number of earlier education methods, including Reggio, Steiner, Te Whariki and Montessori, uniquely woven together to fit the 21st century.
The Topsy classroom caters for our youngest children aged three months to two years and holds a maximum of 13 children per session, between five staff members. Topsy's room is equipped with age related recourses to aid growth and development through heuristic play.
Daily messy play activities are set out using materials such as sand, water, play-dough, cornflour gloop and hay to encourage our younger children to explore using all their senses and experience a variety of textures.Meanwhile our electrical and musical toys develop sound recognition and inspire early interest in technology.

At Keeley's, we strive to deliver healthy balanced meals, homemade and freshly prepared on site by our professional nursery cooks. Our menus are seasonal and culturally diverse as well as including traditional British dishes and childhood favourites with a healthy twist. A vegetarian alternative is provided where necessary and all other independent dietary requirements are strictly adhered to.
The world is moving towards technology at an incredible pace. We at Keeley's are aware that it also has so much to offer us as a nursery, which is why we have adopted Connect Childcare. We wanted to spend more time developing your children and less time on administrative tasks. After we moved to Croydon, we sent our daughter to Keeley's, but she was so unhappy there that we decided to pull her out after one week of her being there full time (after the settling in period). Rarely greeted our daughter by name when we dropped her off, and staff seemed irritated & burned out during pick-ups. Found staff to be very unfriendly and inexperienced when it came to settling children--very quick to blame unhappiness on teething. Our daughter has attended 3 other nurseries both before and after Keeley's, and she's always settled in just fine and been very happy. Keeley's was the one
