We are pleased to confirm that we are located next door to the Highfield House Hotel and guests of Ceno are most welcome to use their car park at no cost. Please be aware that the hotel does operate a parking check system, so please ensure that you register your details with a member of the team when you arrive at the restaurant.

We went there for dinner with my daughter when I visited her. The place looks nice, it’s got a big area to sit outside. Not every table was shaded so bear this in mind when planning a meal there on a hot day. It might be worth booking and requesting a specific table in advance. The place looked busy so clearly it is popular.
The staff is friendly and the food was tasty. We had a chicken burger which was served with chips and slow and we also had salmon with spinach and pea risotto - quite unusual combination.

Visited for the first time today with my wife. I had the ham eggs and chips with piccalilli, she had the meetball mozzarella sourdough. Both were simple options but were excellent: freshly prepared with high quality ingredients and a bit of a twist. The staff serving us were polite, friendly and helpful, and attended to us quickly and efficiently. It wasn't too busy, but there was good ambience. Highly recommended.

Our second time dining at Ceno. The restaurant is modern and has a nice location. We had to wait a couple of minutes for our table, so we sat in the bar area. It was relatively busy and also quite loud in there because of the amount of people. However, overall the bar area was a nice place to have a drink before sitting, some couples were just drinking and never left the bar area.
Moving on to our starters where we ordered a mixture to share. The scallops were really nice, the variant of garlic bread (that i can't remember) was also very good. Across the table, the Tempura prawns were also good

Maybe the previous reviewer should return to Ceno, as I can honestly say its the most creatively served food, that tasted amazing!
Go and try it for yourself, but we go back again and again as there is no where to match it in Southampton.
Brilliant, and friendly staff, good service, nice atmosphere and great for both lunch and dinner.
