We are passionate about holistic outdoor educational learning; reconnecting children with nature in a fun, friendly and stimulating environment. Services
The before school club commences with breakfast, this is a fantastic social time where the children can socialise with their friends or join in with one of the morning activities. Our children are incredibly close and they make lasting bonds and relationships with the other children. At Norsey Woods and Thriftwood, we have over 165 acres of woodland for the children to explore and play in.
From mud kitchens to growing vegetables for snack, inquisitive minds will learn how things work, grow and evolve. Our natural holistic curriculum has been developed to meet the seven areas of learning as set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We do this through a variety of outdoor play and creative messy activities designed to foster a love for learning through exploration.
We pride ourselves on the level of education and amasing opportunities we are able to offer our children, we have a full indoor and outdoor curriculum, forest school, beach school, additional private talks, experience days and day trips. We have our own allotment where the children are taken there to learn about growing fruit and vegetables.
Our holiday clubs provide a fun, engaging programme during the breaks for your outdoorsy adventure-loving kids. We encourage children to try new challenges, forestry & obstacles, outdoor pursuits, develop new skills, keep active and have fun! High-action outdoor activities for boys and girls.
Whatever the weather, our two great locations (Billericay & Brentwood) provide high-energy days with 7:30am to 6:30pm cover for all Primary school aged children.We will be continually reviewing government guidance relating to educational and childcare settings as well as that from our Ofsted advisors to ensure we provide a safe and practical environment for children, parents, and employees.

Due to recent expansion and a new setting on the way, we currently have a number of positions open in childcare. The Treehouse Club settings in Billericay and Wickford; are now recruiting for a fun bubbly person/s to join our teams. We are situated on a farm, in a purpose built nursery. We have children from 8 weeks to 10 years old and also offer a fun holiday club.

So disappointed by the treehouse club summer holiday club, it’s marketed at children up to 11 but in reality it’s clearly only suitable for nursery children. My 7 and 10 year just ‘sat around’ for most of the day and when I picked them up at 4.30 (it’s supposed to be open until 6.30/7) they were sitting with their coats and bags just waiting to be picked up - I was heartbroken 💔.

My 9 year daughter went the the holiday club this summer and loved every minute of it. She enjoyed so much we have booked more sessions.
The holiday club is well set up especially around the covid procedures in place. They take the children's temperature at the door. All social distancing when dropping off and picking up. My daughter said the carers were great fun and were very good at reminding everyone to wash there hands.
All in all a great experience in such challenging time!

My son and daughter went for the first time to the holiday club on Friday.
They both absolutely loved all the outside fun and activities!
They did lots of creative and imaginative play, and brought home all the things they had made!
The Treehouse is value for money and had lots of availability and hours on offer at short notice.
The staff were all friendly and there was good children’s food menu choices on offer.
My two have already asked when they can go again!

My daughter has only been to the nursery for 4 days and already i am so so happy i chose this place. the feedback i get when i pick her up every day really puts me at ease as they take the time to fill you in on the day. she is absolutely loving it there and it is so nice knowing shes outside every day in the woods doing what kids do best!

My little girl has been attending Treehouse since she was 1 year old and is due to start reception in September. She has been in each room and has always loved going. She has learnt so much from attending and is always talking about her friends at treehouse. The staff are all lovely and I know she is well cared for.

My daughter loves coming here. She talks about her day for ages after coming home. I love her key worker as much as she does. She has developed a brilliant bond with my daughter. Also with myself as a parent. She's definately a credit to The Tree House Club. Wickford is a very welcoming and homey setting, even with lots of outdoors play. We'll be so sad when it's time to move on from the 2 year room.
