Little Acorns Day Nursery
Little Acorns is a privately owned day nursery within the secure grounds of St Andrews School Cobham. It is a quiet and safe location designed to make both the children and their families feel at home within a friendly and comfortable environment. Our nursery is a purpose built, fully air-conditioned setting with the children's learning, development and enjoyment at the heart of each of our 4 age groups.

We are especially proud of our separate and dedicated gardens along with our onsite forest school, all thoughtfully designed to support our children's love of the outdoors. Having extensive outside space allows our children unlimited access to the garden with the use of free-flow in our over two's rooms.
Services
Designed to comfortably accommodate babies, with their own sleep room, milk kitchen and garden area. The baby room ratio is 1:3 which is maintained at all times to ensure the children's safety and to ensure their individual needs are met. There is also a wide selection of interactive toys and equipment for the babies to play with, helping them to develop and explore their environment.
Tinies room is designed specifically for children as they become more independent and physically active. While continuing to have one member of staff allocated for every three children we have a maximum of 12 children in this age group. The stimulating and open space of the Tinies room enables exploration in a variety of areas.
Toddlers have one member of staff allocated for every four children, we have a maximum of 12 children in this age group. Planned and child-initiated activities are complemented by a large variety of enriching resources to support enthusiastic learners. The Toddlers are able to enjoy free-flow between the Toddler Room and the large back garden throughout the morning and afternoon.
The pre-school space provides our older children with the opportunity and experiences to further develop their confidence and independence. This classroom provides a secure environment enabling the children to develop the skills required in preparation for schools such as social skills, independence and self-esteem.
All meals are prepared within the nursery using fresh ingredients. The menu is designed to offer a healthy nutritious diet with a balance of protein, carbohydrates, fat, fibre, dairy products, vitamins and minerals. Age groups and all dietary needs will be taken into account. If your child has any special requirements please inform the management as alternatives will be made available.

A wonderful, nurturing nursery. Lovely, caring, family like staff. Both my daughters absolutely love it. The older one is at school now and she always wants to go back and visit. Leaving Little Acorns she was more than ready for school and already knew most of things they learn in reception. Teachers always come up with some fun, interactive activities and keep the little ones occupied. Children also spend lots of time outside in their dedicated gardens (these are great! ), which was important for us. I could not recommend them highly enough!

My daughter absolutely loves going to Little Acorns Day Nursery. The nursery always keeps children busy and my daughter likes all the activities. The food is also very good as my daughter often has seconds.

My son absolutely loved his time at little acorns. The staff are so friendly and lovely and kept me reassured throughout the day. They updated my sons dojo account to show what he was doing throughout the day including lots of videos off him learning academically and playing socially with others. Everyone always comments how my son seems advanced for his age and I only have little acorns to thank for that for implementing basic skills in his daily routine so early on in his life! Thank you all❤️

A wonderful nursery whose teachers have inspired and nurtured my little boy in his pre-school year and have more than prepared him for his first year at "big" school. I know he will miss the little acorns team and all the friends he has made there.
