Services
My name is Abby Auty, I am co-founder and co-owner of Red Balloon. Caroline and I established Red Balloon in 2004. We originally met at ante-natal classes when we were both expecting our first child and we soon became firm friends. We both returned to work after maternity leave and were disappointed that we were unable to find a nursery which met our high standards.
We accommodate 62 children aged between 3 months and 5 years to whom we offer full day care from 7:30am to 6:30pm, 51 weeks per year. We are conveniently located on the Portsmouth Road with a lovely outdoor area and ample car parking. We are proud of our Ofsted Outstanding rating! We have created a calm and natural environment which supports curiosity and fascination from a young age.
Red Balloon Ockham offers exceptional child care for children from 3 months in our baby room, up to the preschool age of 5 years old. We enjoy an idyllic rural location nestling on farm grounds, set within a single storey barn and stable conversion. Each of the nursery rooms has its own direct access to wonderful spacious outdoor play areas.
Our nursery is located within a delightful Edwardian home and is conveniently located just off the high street with a spacious outdoor area and ample car parking. Green Room accommodates up to 12 children aged from 3 months to 18 months. Green Room is a loving and nurturing environment with different snug and cosy areas where we enjoy lots and lots of hugs and cuddles.
We operate a stringent and demanding recruitment process in order to select the highest quality, well-qualified and experienced staff who display absolute dedication to providing the highest standards in childcare and a genuine commitment to the safety, development and wellbeing of the children in their care.
