This project, in Surrey, comprised internal structural alterations and the client required a large opening (circa 6m) to accommodate folding sliding doors. The challenges presented on this project included strengthening of existing walls where site survey revealed sub-standard supports.
The client's requirements on this single storey rear extension in West London, in a conservation area, was to have extended glazing areas with a lantern roof light to improve natural lighting to the new kitchen/diner.The side and rear glazing has added an aesthetic appeal to the extension. These loft conversions, in the boroughs Hammersmith and Fulham, were designed specifically to suit client's requirements.
