Aldersbrook Engineering is a precision machining company specialising in high quality, high precision machined parts. Established in 1989 from a background of military component manufacture and based in Barking, East London, Aldersbrook Engineering has expertise in all areas of precision machining including CNC milling, CNC turning and conventional precision machining.

Services
The main types of precision machining Aldersbrook Engineering undertake are CNC milling and CNC turning, although we have various manual machines for secondary operations. Please look at individual machining pages for more information. All CNC machines are linked to a Smartcam Cadcam network for programme uploading and storage for repeat manufacture.
Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Turning is the most common form of CNC. Here at Aldersbrook Engineering we have extensive experience in CNC turning and operate a variety of CNC lathes. As such we are able to precision machine components from 2mm dia up to 600mm dia and lengths up to 1.5 metres.
As you would expect, we regularly undertake a broad cross-section of conventional lathe and CNC turning jobs including profiling, taper turning, screwcutting, straight turning, internal and external grooving and boring.We work with a wide range of materials and produce high quality components from all types of stainless steel and aluminium, plus mild steel, tool steel, cast iron, bronze, lead, wood, perspex and all types of plastic.
