We had lunch and dinner here yesterday and stayed overnight. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. It is really dog friendly and there is access to a good walk for the dog directly… out of the rear gate of the car park. We stayed overnight and the rooms were spotless and really comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. 👍

Welcomed warmly and booking recognised without reference, perhaps owing to previously advised canine accompaniment. Shown to secluded, but not hidden , table prepared with blanket and water for dog!
Friendly and attentive, but NOT obtrusive, waitress handled all menu questions without demur. Brilliant relaxed service!
Fish can be tricky, yet meal delicious and, if not fresh, the chef made it taste so. Passed on starters, but desserts equally good.
Giving 6 stars for value for money!
Thanks to the whole team.
Will be back!

We visited here for lunch the other week, and decided to go for a starter and main. The food was served quickly and what we had was very nice indeed. This place is also very dog friendly with water and biscuits at the door as you go in. The staff were also very nice and made the visit even more worthwhile.

Pleasant Inn with good food and friendly service. I had a lovely homemade steak pie for lunch: good selection of tastily cooked veg. My wife and her sister each had scampi, fish, chips and peas. The sister adored her cheesecake to follow while we shared a sticky toffee pudding - it was a generous portion.
£12 a head. Good value.

Very accommodating!! We stopped here for a night on our way to N500. The staff were lovely and friendly. We were able to stay with our 2 dogs and have them in the restaurant for dinner. Clean and spacious room with coffee/tea facilities and essentials. 100% recommend!! Note: They ask you to consider booking direct rather than on comparison websites as they are a small business and if they can avoid paying commission, the better!

Had a very nice Sunday evening meal here. Clean and spacious eating area. Very nice food and friendly staff. They apparently had only 1 chef on our visit but that didn't seem to affect the quality and the food came out at a reasonable rate.
