Summertime is a 35-place nursery which opened in 2007. We take a maximum of 9 babies age 0-2 years in the baby room and up to 26 children aged between 2 and 5 years in the preschool room. This makes us a small nursery with a family atmosphere ensuring everyone knows your child and that we provide a warm, nurturing environment.
We are registered with Ofsted and comply with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. All our Staff are DBS checked before recruitment and are fully Pediatric First Aid trained. We are a committee run registered Charity which gives you the opportunity to be as involved in the daily running of the nursery as you wish and have time for.

Services
Summertime Nursery consists of a team of competent, committed and experienced employees. We Operate a keyperson system. This is a named member of staff who will have special responsibilities for certain children. This ensures each child is progressing well and that there is a good shared knowledge between staff and parents.
For babies we provide continuity of care with four regular staff members with an emphasis on emotional warmth and security. Young toddlers develop the social skills of turn-taking and sharing while learning through play and undertake creative activities daily.
Preschool Room Our Preschool Room has been designed to provide a safe, secure learning environment that reflects how young children play and explore with an accessible, exciting outdoor space.The preschool room is split into ducks and ducklings which keeps the numbers lower for story, register and circle time.

Parent Name, contact email and phone number, Child's name, Child's date of birth, estimated start date, days and hours you would like. We can then invite you in to view the nursery for a look around and meet the staff. All children are entitled to the government universal 15 hours free childcare in the term following their 3rd birthday subject to our availability.
