Services
All of our bedrooms are comfortable and have all the old charm and quirkiness that you would expect from a building that has stood the test of time for over 500 years. A mixture of double, single and family rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms gives us the flexibilty to accomodate each and every visitior from those travelling alone on business to couples and families visiting the many local attractions that the area has to offer.
Our Restaurant and Bar have recently been refurbished in a unique fashion retaining a lot of the history and story of the building. Wood burning stoves, families and dogs all go to make a very warm and welcome atmosphere at the Bell House. The menu is carefully and expertly created by our team of chefs using only the best quality and freshest ingredients available.
Cleanliness and hygiene have always been of paramount importance at The Bell House Hotel and every member of staff is held equally responsible for maintaining the highest possible standards so we were all proud and delighted when we received a five star food hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency.
From Chippenham town centre follow signs for the B4069 to Lyneham and Royal Wootton Bassett. Continue out of Chippenham on the B4069 passing the villages of Langley Burrell and Kington Langley. Stay on this road until you enter the village of Sutton Benger, as you drive through the village you will see The Bell House Hotel on your right immediatley opposite the village Church.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Somehow we managed to find a room here at the last minute with three beds for a reasonable cost. The beds were very comfy and the room was perfectly clean and tidy. It was a joy to wake up to apples on the ground, a beautiful dining room, and a hot delicious breakfast! I'd definitely stay here again.

The Bell House Hotel is a little gem. I booked in at the last moment as a base to go to Womad as a day visitor. The welcome was warm and helpful, the room was lovely - clean, nicely set up and cosy. The breakfast options are epic and delicious. I needed a fair bit of help and support as I'd recently had surgery - Chris and his staff could not have been more accommodating. Thoroughly recommended!!
