Had a very strange stay here. Service was hit and miss, despite the very high price (nearly four digits) for one night. Not sure if the problem is the culture or if they are not paying the staff enough, but something is definitely not right. Maybe it is the Michelin star restaurant which demands all their resources. We stayed for my wife's big birthday in their most expensive room, and in the lead up to the stay we had some bizarre 'computer says no' responses from the spa when trying to book a treatment and were told no treatments were available. Emails went unanswered, phone calls were confusing

Superlatives fail me but it was a fantastic four night stay, the staff were amazing with nothing too much trouble, the rooms really comfortable and spacious. Added to this the general facilities were excellent especially the spa and the in and out pool! Topped off by a wonderful massage.....this is most definitely the place to come to in the Cotswolds

What a lovely haven of peace and tranquility. A wonderful welcome from a very attentive staff whose friendly service was greatly appreciated on our first trip after Covid. The suite was incredibly comfortable and if we needed anything it was available with a quick phone call.

What a lovely , refreshing and absolutely beautiful find :-) The hotel was incredibly accommodating and friendly staff who made the stay exceedingly comfortable. Spa was perfect with excellent treatments and bespoke massages on offer, and the setting was stunning. We requested halal option for our dining experience and that was sourced and catered for with the most delicious meal. Definitely a place to return and recommend to others.

This spa hotel is one of the best places I've ever stayed, the therapists were very skilled, the rooms have all been redecorated recently, the food was stunning and as for their 2 michelin star restaurant, WOW, WOW, WOW!!! But the staff at the hotel are just in a different league, I'm in a wheelchair and nothing was too much trouble for any of them, we were made to feel incredibly special and we will definitely be going back. Thanks to everyone at Whatley Manor for making my husband's birthday incredibly memorable.

This is a beautiful country House Hotel and Spa a few miles outside of Malmesbury on the edge of the Costwolds.
The building itself is beautiful and has been very well maintained as well as carefully and tastefully enhanced.
The Spa is great. There are a wide range of treatments as well as a good range of heat rooms and a pool that runs from inside to outside with many jacuzzi elements. It's easy to spend a couple of hours in the spa without having a foal treatment.
Service is excellent. We felt extremely well looked after.

Beautiful surroundings, outstanding gardens. We visited for a combination Sunday lunch and cinema. The menu was limited to 3 options per course, and we were delighted with our choices. The Sunday roast looked wonderful. The food was faultlessly cooked and presented and the staff was attentive and efficient. The film after lunch was Bohemian Rhapsody which we enjoyed very much, an excellent way to let the food settle, and the effects of the wine to diminish. I would recommend this package as it was great value for money and a very pleasant experience.

Our stay was perfect in every way. The staff was so friendly, professional and helpful! We enjoyed the many walks in the country side and the spa is excellent. Our room #11 was large and well appointed. We loved the blend of old world charm and modern understated luxury. The grounds are spectacular. The dining is world class! Besides for the most innovative tasting menu in the world conceived by a genius chef and his staff, we loved the tapas bar and private dining experience. Our sommelier Tim who was visiting from Denmark made the dinner so special as did the young chef Julian who

Amazing stay celebrating our first wedding anniversary. Nice relaxed feel about the place, although staff always helpful. Spa was superb and had the place largely to ourselves which was a bonus. 7 course tasting menu in the evening was fantastic and great service. Breakfast in the morning was very good - the full English is highly recommended.

I love everything about Whatley Manor. The service is lovely, the food is sensational (especially in the 2Michelin star dining room) The rooms are huge, and very comfortable.
Spa treatments are superb, and the indoor/outdoor pool is stunning... even in Mid-march it was amazing to be able to sit in the pool, taking in the fresh cotswold air.
I almost prefer this place to Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons- the only reason Le Manoir are still ahead by a whisker, is their bread basket at dinner is amazing- often almost 20 types of bread; and that their scones are out of this world. Whatley Manor&apos

Whatley Manor is a 5, decadent, opulent, luxurious and expensive hotel, but if you want quality in every single way, then Whatley Manor is the first place to visit.
As you approach the hotel down the huge drive, you are met with lots of greenery, trees and spacious countryside. The large gates open on approach, revealing the large courtyard and the hotel itself.
Two valets met us as we drove to the entrance, they valeted the car and took our luggage into the hotel. The receptionist was French (as are all the workers as far as we could tell as the owners are French) and greeted us very warmly, and
