Our philosophy, from the very beginning, is to bring children and adults together through combining unrivalled value with flexible sessions and overflowing programmes. Come rain or shine, all year round you will find a whole host of unique experiences and activities to take part in. Unlike any of our competitors, we merge a curated choice of sports, leisure & spa facilities alongside free craft tuition.
There is absolutely nothing like our Craft Centres in the UK. We offer creative workshops in a wide range of traditional and contemporary arts making it the perfect place for a crafty break, whatever your level of experience. Our programme is flexible and we ensure that each craft activity runs at least once, generally twice during each stay, so guests can take part in as much or as little crafting as they choose.
We also have a selection of prints to frame, cards for any occasion and designs for you to personalise, plus our largest stock of bisque ever. In this workshop, you will learn how to fuse glass using coloured glass, threads, powders and copper wire. You will have the opportunity to design and create a vibrant coaster or sun catcher.
This is an open session, running from 9am - 5pm everyday, allowing you the freedom to craft at your convenience. Bisque is slip cast items, of which our tutors have made and fired. We have a range of over 100 moulds, which are held in stock ready for decoration. Bisqueware can be decorated using acrylic paints; alternatively under glaze paints can be used.
We have a wide range of porcelain to paint on, our studio is well-equipped and fit for beginners who want to get creative. Our tutors' will guide you through the process of hand painting, sponging and tracing motifs from our design library using carbon paper. This is your opportunity to design personalised porcelain using fit-for-purpose paint, pens and relief outliners.
