Here at The Boathouse Hotel you can dine in either our bistro or order your lunch from our barista style coffee shop. Our meals are all cooked to order, from fresh ingredients, by our very talented Head Chef, Dave Young, and his dedicated team. Our menu includes dishes such as Luxury Cod Fish cakes, Home Made Steak & Ale Pie, Three Cheese Pasta & Broccoli Bake and Gooey Belgian Chocolate Pudding, as well as many other varied dishes.

Just taken over by new owners a couple of days before our visit so a bit chaotic, but the food was OK. Lovely genuine people who are running it as a not for profit community venture. Go along and support, chill out and enjoy the views and the hospitality. When we're back on the Island we'll be back to see you! All the very best.

Room - we had a double bed with a single and an additional single attached to our room which was perfect.
Dog friendly - really friendly plus our pup got a sausage of his own at breakfast time it's the small things that make the holiday.
Food - lovely full English breakfas, plus options scrambled egg, poached etc
Parking - ample, plus a really nice location with beautiful views of the harbour and plenty of outside spaces to sit
Staff - fantastic couldn't do more.
I don't normally post images of hotel rooms but I really appreciate how nice it was and can highly recommend

Perfectly fine double room, small but clean with an ok view on the beer garden below. The bathroom was especially nice, modern and clean.
Location by the marina is nice, easy walk to the breakwater to catch the sunset and really close to get into town and catch our train in the morning.
We didn't have dinner here, but it was an option and seemed quite popular. It was nice to sit in the beer garden for a pint when we arrived.
Reception was friendly and helped us with storing our bikes in a safe place for the night. All in all a good stay and would use again if we're ever in Holyhead again in

We have just returned from a weekend at this lovely hotel, which is located right on a scenic harbour. The whole place is immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean, and the rooms were serviced each day and left looking and smelling hygienic and fresh each time.
The owners/managers went out of their way to provide us with a full vegan breakfast which was beautifully cooked and delicious, and we were impressed and delighted by how informed and considerate the kitchen and waiting staff were to our dietary choices. My MIL also enjoyed an equally nicely cooked traditional full English breakfast.
