Services
We have one full time nursery class which caters for 26 children. The school day begins at 8:50am and collection time is between 1:10pm and 1.20pm. Mrs Towe teaches Year 1. The classroom assistant is Mrs Forker. We work closely together to ensure the pupils receive a full and exciting academic, social and emotional curriculum. Learning will occur in both formal and informal settings and pupils experience both play based learning inside and outside of the classroom.
Lurgan Model Primary School provides a range of services and activities during or beyond the school day, to help meet the needs of children, their families and the wider community. Children from Year 1 to Year 3 can attend this club daily for 60 pence per day. The children receive a healthy snack and have an extensive range of indoor and outdoor toys to play with.
Lurgan Model Primary School and Nursery Unit is fortunate to have a supportive and friendly Parent / Teacher Association. The PTA aim to support the school in its aims and objectives, they help with events to promote social activities and develop home / school relations. An added bonus to their hard work and commitment is fundraising.
