Critical: Professionalism
Hotel cancelled our booking with 2 days notice (booked 3 months in advance). VERY poor communication, emails and calls went unanswered, ruined the event we had booked tickets for in this location and left us out of pocket. Would not recommend this hotel based on how this was handled.

One of my very favourite places to stay. I cannot recommend it highly enough. A beautiful house, made extra special by the wonderful staff who really do absolutely everything to make sure your stay is the best it can be. I recommend making the time to investigate the history and some of the quirks of the place.

Went for afternoon tea today. Arrived to a 20 minute wait for our table. We were asked what drinks we would like which then took ages to arrive. Food looked lovely but was so dry it tasted as though it had been sat there most of the week! 5 of us shared the platter which meant we had about1 maybe 2 triangle sandwiches definitely not worth £20/25 each! Had to continually ask for more drinks and it was not busy at all. No staff- the little there was I felt sorry for as they were getting a lot of grief off angry customers! Then took almost an hour for our scones, jam and cream to arrive! Just poorly

Gorgeous location, lovely staff. The interior of the halls were lovely, but the room we were given (mansion room 2), had a black patch of mould in the corner which was off putting. The bed was comfy and the views from the windows were lovely. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! Would definitely return!

Was the best hotel we have stayed in. Room was lovely. Was upgraded so even better because we got to stay in the actual Stoke Rockford hall. Was my husbands birthday so was a bonus. Lovely grounds and great wildlife to see. Staff was very helpful and polite. Would recommend a stay here.

Beautiful building. Very comfortable and clean. Food good. Strongly recommend the history tour. Leisure centre is in grounds (which are lovely) but quite a way away from the hotel. Recommended you ask for Mansion room(in main house rather than stable block)
