Honeypot Day Nursery & Pre-School is situated in the village of Weston Hills, near Spalding, Lincolnshire. The setting opened in 2008 in the old primary school following the construction of a new modern building nearby. The setting was opened by 2 local parents and as parents ourselves, we recognise the importance of providing high quality affordable childcare in a local community.
We feel passionate about our role and expect high standards from each and every one of our team, thus ensuring we can provide good Early Years Education to each and every child that passes through our setting. We are able to cater for 44 children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. Honeypot has an open and fair admissions policy giving access to every family in the community.

Services
We have different areas within the setting for children at their varying stages of development. The rooms are called Ladybird, Caterpillar and Butterfly for babies, toddlers and pre-school respectively. We have a separate area for eating and messy play together with a bedroom for babies to sleep. The bedroom is equipped with wooden cots.
Our staff team is committed to providing high standards care for your children and providing good quality learning and development opportunities whilst at Honeypot. We work with parents for the benefit of all children in our care, irrespective of their individual needs.
In order to do this we ensure all staff work together as a cohesive team, all children have a key worker, we have two SEND coordinators, safeguarding leads, all staff are paediatric first aid trained (every 3 years), the majority are Makaton trained and all staff have a level 2 Food & Hygiene award.

Safety is paramount at Honeypot Day Nursery and children will only be released to adults known to the nursery. We follow all guidelines, recommendations and requirements issued by the Governement with regards to managing infection control. These are updated regularly and have resulted in temporary changes to various policies and procedures.
School children attending before and after school or holidays are charged at differnt rates. From the beginning of the school term after your child has turned 3, he/she is entitled to 15 hours per week at no charge to yourselves. These hours can either be taken during the Lincolnshire school term or stretched to 51 weeks per year at 11.5 hours per week.
