The Woodlands Nursery is a family owned nursery set up by Anne and Adrian O'Sullivan, based on the idea that happy, active children thrive. Learning opportunities in the outdoors, will be fundamental to Nursery's ethos. As a parent and former primary school headteacher, I know that when children are happy, they learn.
Parents are their child's first educators and by the time your child starts Nursery, you will already have taught them many things. It is a daunting task for any parent to leave their child in the care of someone else. It is our aim to work with parents to tailor make a place at The Woodlands Nursery, which will meet the individual needs of every child in our care.

Services
At The Woodlands Nursery, we want your child's time here with us to be happy and full of fun. The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year. We take children aged from four months to the term before they turn five years old. The nursery will be registered for about 134 children. There will be a breakfast club, afterschool club and holiday club.
All children take time to settle into a new environment with new people. As much as children want to play with toys and other children, it is natural that they will be anxious about new surroundings. We ask parents/carers to bring their child/ren to nursery at least two weeks before their start date.
The nursery manager or a senior member of staff will show parent/carers around the nursery, explaining the philosophy and ethos of the Nursery, the day to day routines, ratios, our keycarer system, food menus and answer any questions which may arise. They will give copies of the nursery's Philosophy document, fees, terms and conditions, and policies and procedures.
