We were in a superior double, room 9. Lovely big comfy bed and all round good facilities. The room was looking out behind the hotel frontage so was protected from any road noise which was perfect. Drinks are reasonably priced and the breakfast which was this morning served on the terrace was absolutely delicious. The staff were all lovely, we would happily return to this hotel in the future. Highly recommended.

We stayed for two nights. Not the most comfy beds but we slept however, where we were in a middle of a heatwave it was just too hot, we asked for another fan which they happily gave us. Still way too hot! They didn't clean our room once we was told we had to ask for it to get cleaned which I think is absurd.
We stayed in room 1 smaller than other rooms and I was disappointed not to get a bath even if we was paying £270 for our stay. The wifi wasn't working properly kept disconnecting .All in all it's very expensive for what it was and I was disappointed as there's cheaper options for more and

I'm not a great fan of this place. On one side it's a 'Fawlty Towers' hotel, on the other side a large wannabe groovy bar full of inappropriate middle aged types like TW Qyper 'legrandflaneur'. Sunday nights are music nights. Avoid. Think Dad Rock wedding reception muzak with too many Crowded House covers................One evening they even had some excruciating nana masquerading as a one man band, armed with an 80's style drum effect synth. I went home and did my ironing................

This place has live music on Sunday Nights, although i believe of late it has moved to alternate weekends because of lack of support. This is such a great venue for bands and some of the bands they have here are amazing, Be Sharp are an example of that. To put on FREE live music does not mean that the band do not get paid,it means that you have to support the venue to keep the music alive. I hope this carries on here because it is one of the nicest places to watch live bands.
