There are many different scenarios in which disputes can occur between the parents of children. Here at Stuart Gordon Solicitors, we deal with disputes concerning children on a regular basis, and are specialists in child and family law. Perhaps you and your partner have separated, or have a dispute over finances, accommodation or work.
These meetings, also commonly called a pre-proceedings meeting, are usually the last step that social services will take prior to taking a case concerning the welfare of a child or children to court. If a child welfare case gets to this point, it is usually because they are extremely concerned about child welfare, and if you have received a letter inviting you to a PLO meeting, you should seek legal advice immediately.
They are also known as 'public children matters', and take place in court. Care proceedings focus upon the welfare of a child, and the court will act based on the best interests of the child, in accordance with the Children Act 1989. Care proceedings are the last step taken by a local authority in order to protect the best interests of a child, and are very serious.

This firm bullies old disabled pensioners with locksmiths to force them out of their home, they should be struck off from working as solicitors. they came today 05/11/2021 with a locksmith and broke in, police were called and stopped them forcing us out of our home, the solicitors did not inform us the locksmith was coming today and we thought we were being burgled. avoid this firm of gangsters, they wanted to keep two of the keys they had to replace after drilling our lock out but with the police there, they had to hand over all the keys and to be able to do what they did they kept hidden from
