We're a little bit late to the game with this one but we're so thrilled to announce that last year we were asked to be a part of a little bit of television history! We made the veil that Emerald Fennell wore to portray Camilla Shand at her first wedding to Andrew Parker Bowles in the hit Netflix series The Crown.
Most people will only ever wear a veil once so few are familiar with them. Hopefully in our veil directory you'll find every answer you need to choose your veil and get it right first time! All our wedding veils are handmade by our small but dedicated team in our boutique workshop just outside Bath. A bridal veil is a unique part of your wedding day, a beautiful mix of tradition and elegance that gives brides their distinctive look on their special day.
Pure soft silk tulle veils are created from one of the most luxurious of all our tulles, it drapes and handles beautifully. Like silk style tulle it has a tendency to catch on embellishments and also works best with slim fitting dresses. Our silk tulle is made in France - a country famous for luxurious fabrics.
At first glance wedding veils can seem quite intimidating; what even is a blusher?! In truth they are not hard to grasp, it's just lack of familiarity that makes them seem scary. Before we get down to the details you may have noticed that while we have an extensive range to choose from we don't offer a 'build your own veil' option.

I ordered my hairpiece from Britten for my wedding and it was more beautiful than it appeared online! There was a slight delay due to COVID & self isolations but they communicated this really well and I was kept fully informed as to when I would receive it. The delay was no issue as being super organised I had ordered it well in advance of my wedding! Thank you so much, you have some beautiful pieces.

Thank you Britten Weddings for making me the most perfect veil. I chose the off white, floor length Niacae veil. I am 5ft 2 and the veil was the perfect length (I wore flats). Service was super quick and the… veil arrived beautifully packaged. I refused to take it off all day and would have slept in it if I could!! 💕

Worst purchase I have done in a while. Order was placed at the end of January, order was sent February 4th. As off today I have not had an update on the tracking number I was given nor have I received my order. I need a response, either file a claim and reimburse me my money or file a claim and send me a new one. You should take responsibility and care for your clients. Danny keeps telling me to buy a different one somewhere else and eventually I might get my money back from Britten. I paid a very expensive veil for me to just buy a new one. I can't do that until I get my money back. I have tried

I want to thank Britten for their fantastic customer service and beautiful bridal accessories. I ordered the wedding hair vine ‘Avery’ in gold and the ‘Amara’ fingertip veil in ivory. All items look as they are pictured online and the added photos of real brides wearing them really helped me make a decision. They look perfect with my wedding dress and I can’t wait to wear them on my wedding day!

I just want to say a huge Thankyou for my perfect veil . We managed to get married on 29 February just before all this madness ! It was the perfect day and I loved wearing my beautiful skylar ivory floor… length veil . It complimented my dress perfectly and I had lots of compliments about how delicate it was . It was so comfy I managed to keep it on all day !

I purchased the Single tier cut edge wedding veil - Niacae' - Champagne / Church length. I must say I am impressed with the service and the product.
I am most impressed by the quality and colour. I defiantly recommend Britten wedding veils if you are looking for that special veil to complete your bridal look.

Con artists. They charge £25 for a “consultation” which is a complete waste of time as consists of you walking round the shop yourself and picking something on display - of which there is not much. Save your money. I expressed my disappointment that my consultant seemed to know very little about what they could do and didn’t even help you try anything on. Might as well have gone to accessorize- I am still waiting for my refund a month later.

Ordered a veil online and was nervous that I was taking a risk without seeing it, but the material is gorgeous, soft and light. I tried quite expensive veils on in my local bridal shop, but they were heavy and stiff, nearly making me change my mind on a veil entirely! Can’t wait to wear it in 7 weeks time! Thank you Britten x

Great customer service right from the start when I contacted them before purchasing through to receiving beautifully packaged veils and a return envelope (great idea!). I ordered multiple veils and samples as I had very little time to decide before my wedding and Britten were really helpful. The hardest part was choosing between equally gorgeous veils! Really enjoyed wearing the veil on the day, Thank you
