All schools in England have a Governing Board which is responsible for overseeing the strategic decisions of the school. As a Board our overarching aim is to ensure that the children who attend Prescot Primary are able to achieve to the best of their ability.

At Prescot Primary, we value how our children learn just as much as what they learn. Every year, as our children grow, we promote many learning behaviours that help them to succeed, including perseverance, independence, communication, curiosity and the ability to learn from their mistakes. We also recognise that many factors can influence how children approach their learning and how they behave during lessons, on the playground and in clubs.

Safeguarding is a priority at Prescot Primary and we believe that safeguarding our children is everyone's responsibility. It is our aim to promote safeguarding with staff, parents and visitors and also to equip our pupils with the skills to keep themselves safe and healthy.
