The Ashton Court is situated on Louisa Terrace, part of the town's historic Beacon, where many notable people chose to make their homes during Exmouth's Georgian heyday. The Hotel enjoys magnificent views of the Exe estuary and the beautiful coastline stretching out towards Torbay. This panoramic scene, enchanting all year round, greets us afresh every morning.
Our attractive gardens overlooking the Esplanade provide a tranquil spot in which to relax and watch the fishing boats and pleasure craft pass back and forth along the shoreline. All the pleasures of the Seafront are just a short stroll away, with the amenities of the town within easy walking distance.

If this review was for the staff I’d give it a 5star. Put some beans with breakfast would be far better than 1/2 tomato Sunday dinner 5roast potatoes between 2 lamb that thin you could of seen through it lunch on Saturday frozen chips frozen fish and we were told minted mushy peas looked like a teaspoon full The packed lunch for £3.50 was excellent value for the money. The owner of this establishment should hold his head down in shame the hours the staff put in they are there in the morning to help in the dining area up and down fixing things and still there at night behind the bar

Inside the Bedroom window infested with flies. Surfaces covered with thick layer of dust, mirrors looked like they’ve been wiped with dirty cloth. Everything was dirty. Room is not fit for purpose. We were totally disgusted. We decided for our own safety that we have no choice but to leave 1.5 after check in. I have emailed the Booking.com with video of infestation and called hotel with the promise of phone call from manager. Still waiting on replies. I will except nothing less than full refund

Nice position looks out to see. Food ok best on the evening is the soup which is home made. The full breakfast is small for me with tiny sausage but all cooked well. Rooms on 3rd floor the showers are terrible hardly any water especially at busy times. Staff are friendly. Rooms not being cleaned because of covid is the reason they give . Nice pint of Tetley.

A delightful property well maintained, our room is clean and well decorated with an ensuite. The evening meal was a three course affair, more than enough for the hungriest of travellers,an on-site bar what more could you want.Only one road back from the sea an ideal location, with sea views from the front of the hotel,Well done.
