St Mary's Church Of England Primary School Hawkshaw
St Mary's is a very special primary school. We are lucky enough to be situated in the beautiful countryside of Hawkshaw, but within just a few miles of Bury and Bolton, both thriving towns. We enjoy wonderful views from our school over the surrounding scenery and the village recreation ground, directly behind our school, is a large part of our life, regularly being used for summer playtimes, sports events and educational lessons.

Our friendly school is based on traditional Christian values. Each child is cared for as an individual and nurtured to reach their personal potential. We have chosen to limit our admission number to 15 per year. We currently have 109 children on roll, taught by three full time teachers, two part time teachers, as well as three teaching assistants.
