Popped in on a quiet Saturday for late lunch. Seated quickly and service pleasant. Menu is small but seems to cover the essentials well. Booze available is a good standard. Environment pleasant and comfortable with a nice bar area at the front and sizable restaurant further back.

The small midget looking women with glass and very short brown hair who I presume is the land lady was incredibly rude, arragant and made me and my friend who stop the night feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I would go as far to say she is vile and shouldn’t be working in the hospitality industries. However the room we stopped in was bathroom suite was very modern and clean. Unfortunately she ruined our entire experience with her bad bad bad hospitality and we come to the conclusion she was extremely drunk as she was sliding her words and repeating herself.

Lovely pub, good pint options and amazing food. We went on a Sunday with a load of kids, probably scared most folk away with the rabble but the staff were amazing and super friendly.
I had fish coujons and lamb dinner absolutely faultless, could have quite easily have stayed for more drinks but had to head back to Leeds.
Great place, highly recommended!

Lovely relaxed village pub, open fires, dogs allowed in bar only which is nice for people without dogs who can sit in another area. Food is outstanding, freshly cooked to order so dishes can be adjusted to suit different tastes or diet requirements. Try the Tuns, it won't disappoint!
