Our website is here for a number of different audiences - our families, our children, our local community and any prospective parents. You should find everything you need to know about our school on this site. If however you have any questions or would like to visit our school please do not hesitate to get in touch.

If you need a copy of any of our policies we can provide paper copies on request. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and inclusive school that works hard to meet the needs of all our children. It is our aim for all children to be independent learners, demonstrating resilience and an abiding respect for others.
Services
The governing body is a group of people made up of parents, staff, LA rep and members of the local community. The body supports the leadership of the school. Governors are motivated by a commitment to the children, and work to make sure they get the best out of their time. The role is voluntary and not paid.
We work in partnership with Exceed SCITT and Teaching Schools Alliance to develop and deliver the very best training programmes and school-based training placements. Through Exceed SCITT and Teaching Schools Alliance our trainees can gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) whilst training in some of the very best schools in the region.
We have been running for about 20 years and our main aim is to raise additional funds for the school. Over the years we have held many different types of events such as discos, raffles and summer fetes and have used the money raised by these events to buy books for the library, equipment for the playground and many other things.
Did you know that our school could be missing out on more than 1300 of funding per year to support your child's learning? The Government currently gives a grant to schools to help children from lower income families do their very best. This funding is called Pupil Premium. There are several ways the Pupil Premium can help Grove House and in turn help your child to learn.
Please use the following resources to help support your child's mental health and emotional wellbeing. This home-learning pack has been designed to support SMSC, Citizenship and PSHE learning within a home environment. All the activities described have been taken from Go-Givers resources and adapted to be delivered by parents and carers at home.

Parent parking is irresponsible and ridiculous with no consideration for children n residents safety.. school approached several times and despite their trying to address issue via letters to parents they are sadly ignored.. police and wardens have been notified and are with school trying to resolve matter.. school itself is friendly well run and a happy environment for children to learn it.. pity small amount of parents are letting it down
