I spent many years working for large organisations but just got to the point where I yearned to work for myself. I wanted to try something new and was just fed up with being a 'desk-jockey'. Does this sound like you? Well you best read on. Eventually I purchased a hog roast machine and just took on a few small local bookings.
Below you can see our spit roast machines in their various states. As you can see the spit roast machines are an easily transportable form of mobile catering. Also whether its roast hog or roast chicken, the spit roast machine is adaptable to enable you to use it as a conventional oven. It doesn't smoke, spit or make a mess (other than the occasional bit of dropped meat which the dog usually hoovers up).

I can't claim to be Australian so i'm not even going to attempt to use the 'throw another shrimp on the barbie' gag. However, I can sizzle a mean banger. We can just come along and fire up the barbeque on its own, but better still, give your guests a choice and combine a bit of bbq catering with a hog roast on the side.
Hog roasts are good, hog roasts and salads are better, but a hog roast with salads and a giant slab of the chocolate brownie breeze block. We hired the Far Pig company for our wedding party. Ash was great at getting back to me, especially as we changed the plans for our party a number of times, but he was very accommodating. The team on the day were great. Very warm and professional. Turned up in good time and the food was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Our event was at lunchtime which meant that the chefs had to be with us by 6.00am. They arrived on time and with minimum of fuss or disruption to the neighbours they set everything up and served 250 people. There was plenty of food, the quality was good and the service was professional and friendly. I would recommend The Fat Pig for any event.

The team got caught behind a motorway pile up which resulted in them arriving around 90 minutes later than planned. However, they kept me updated at all times, and actually served only 15 minutes later than originally scheduled.
Everyone was very complimentary about the food and the guys were very professional.
