The staff at Haweli of Belmont have always be excellent when we've eaten in their restaurant, "MORE IMPORTANTLY" as I have a garlic allergy - on all orders placed for delivery "every time" use clean equipment to ensure no garlic taints my order when preparing my food AND cook from fresh ANY dish I select that includes garlic in the ingredients. "This to me is, over and above any other customer service I ever encountered.
Now, our collective review of the dishes we've had from the guys over the years, I'd be wrong to say "Food is always 100%" | Reviews in my opinion are left to help others make

Had a really bad experience, take away was absolutely dreadful food. Im not one to review a restaurant however it was terrible, phoned to get it sorted and was spoken to very rudely. Food was never eaten, ive been cooking at home for many years and the sauces smelled off.

Order from here regularly but when I questioned the price being really high was told my menu (which I picked up a couple months ago) was 7 years old. I could have swallowed the price increase if the food was to the usual standard but it wasn't, 1 of the curries had zero flavour and just tasted watery. Won't rush to order again.

Have used this restaurant for many years eating in and takeaway.
I booked a table for 5 last night cant fault the food as normal even though I ordered a kema nan and got a plain one but no problem it happens.
I was in the restaurant with friends who I hadn't seen in a fair while, the problem came when we finished our meal the table was cleared as soon as we finished our meal and when we asked for coffees we were told no and we would get the bill and have to leave as they had people waiting for a table.
To crown it all there was a table that had been there longer than us and was still serving

The take away I got was very expensive but the food was absolutely delicious. Could honestly not fault the food quality or preparation, it was just the price I found a little steep. Saying that, I would defo order again. Well done chef! last nights curry was awesome!

Five stars - both take away and dine in. They took excellent care of us, from the quality of food to the considerate attention throughout the meal. Not to mention the extra safe but never uncomfortable COVID safety precautions. If you looking for an excellent Indian experience, look no further. They cannot be faulted!

I can never fault Haweli. Can always guarantee you are going to have a really good curry. Went this evening to have a sit down meal for the first time as we usually get a take away from here. Everywhere was clean and the staff were masked and gloved up with hand sanitizer around the restaurant. There is plenty of space between tables. The guys were working so hard and the food was amazing as always. I will keep coming back to Haweli.

Only been there 3 times for a takeaway. It was many years ago, with my dear friend Peter. Pete loved it, but in my opinion, everything was too sweet! It tasted like the chef had emptied the sugar bowl into the pot! Very expensive too!

We’ve been getting takeaways from this place almost every weekend during lockdown - their food is great and their service is really quick!
However, such a shame they put their prices up last week, perhaps cost prices have gone up but it seems more likely they’re taking advantage of reduced competition during lockdown. We probably won’t be ordering from them again for this reason, such a shame!

This is by far the worst Indian takeaway i have ever had with NO offer of exchange or refund.
I ordered a Madras - and had to pay extra for it to be "madras hot"
When i received the curry - it was watery - way way too sweet with no other flavor or spice ! and the bhajis were powdery - inedible and all went in the bin!
