Churchdown Day Nursery is a privately owned establishment in Parton Road, Churchdown, and has been operating since 1997. It is conveniently situated between Cheltenham and Gloucester and has moved to a new purpose built nursery. We pride ourselves on providing a loving and caring environment with high standards of care.
Our staff hold nationally recognised qualifications and are all experienced childcare practitioners who have been chosen for their individual skills and aptitude for working with children. All staff are trained in first aid and child protection and they regularly attend courses to further their qualifications.

Services
This is a fantastic room with a friendly atmosphere. With access to the balcony children can benefit from a free flow learning environment. The children enjoy a wide variety of learning experiences. Regular visits to the local park, library, post office cement our relationship with the local community.
Our full time cook prepares freshly made meals every day incorporating fresh fruit and vegetables. The menu is rotated over four weeks to allow maximum variety. Children with a special diet due to health or religion are catered for. The routine for the day is as follows but meals can vary from day to day.

Our daughter has thrived since joining Churchdown Nursery. We like the fact that they are an independent family run business. This creates a home from home environment which we didn't get from the otger nurseries which are part of a large group. The staff are all friendly and have gone above and beyond. The nursery is spacious, clean and has a fun and friendly environment. We have found the management team to be supportive. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe environment for their little ones.

I am so pleased we chose Churchdown day nursery; my little boy always goes in and comes out happy. They have the perfect mixture of being a homely and loving atmosphere but are also proffessional and have a clean safe environment. Some of the larger chains have a very clinical and sterile feel, Churchdown has managed the balance perfectly. I know if he's teething and grumpy he'll get extra cuddles and the care he needs. They're fed a good balanced diet and do great, varied activities with plenty of outside time too. Can't rate them enough!

Going back to work was a bit daunting but my little boy is so happy and content at nursery it has really put my mind at ease. I can't thank everyone enough for how well he's cared for; he always comes back jolly and I'm kept updated about how he's getting on by their app during the course of the day. I'm so, so happy with our decision!

I cannot thank the staff at Churchdown Day Nursery enough for all of their hard work. My son has just had his last session due to relocating and if I could take the whole place with us I would. Since attending the nursery my son has grown in confidence, his speech is fantastic and his personality shines through always. To know he was always safe, loved and cared for within this setting has always been a great comfort to me. You really are all amazing. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. You will be truly missed.

5 out of 5 - our daughter has been at Churchdown nursery now for nearly 10 months and we are so happy with this nursery. We were nervous at the beginning about leaving our daughter like expected but she had a couple of settling in sessions to start with and we were able to ring up to check how things were going once she started and they would ring… up if there were any problems. Staff are lovely and kind and ensure that your child is cared for. This is the first time I've had experience of a nursery. I can't speak more highly of the staff setting. The staff sit with the children when they have their food. My child is so happy at the nursery. She has been going to the nursery for nearly 2 years now and loves every minute. It's difficult to get her to come home at times. Xxxx
