Services
Wodensfield Primary School consists of three buildings. The Infant (KS1) building was built in 1931 and extensively modernised in 1972-3. Children are admitted into a school reception class at the beginning of the Autumn Term of the year in which they turn 5. The Nursery has 40 morning places and 40 afternoon places.
The Governing Body of our school is made up of parent governors, staff governors, co-opted governors and a governor appointed by the Local Authority. There are two vacancies for parent governors on our Governing Body. The Governing Body is inviting nominations from individuals with parental responsibility for a child at the school.
At Wodensfield Primary School, we wish to inspire and motivate all of our children to achieve their full physical potential by participating in a broad and balanced physical education curriculum.
We will give them the opportunity to access a wide range of physical activities both in and out of the curriculum, which will develop their physical literacy and fitness and provide them with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them to lead a happy, healthy, active life so that they may make a positive contribution to the wider world and that they may pursue a lifelong participation and love of physical activity, sport, health and well-being.
