We have been serving our local community since 1965 in the heart of Allerton and due to expanding into a 2 form entry establishment we now have a fully equipped and professionally staffed Nursery & Reception unit to give your child the best start to their school life. Here at Ley Top Primary School we cater for children from 3 to 11 years in our on site nursery and large school building with extensive grounds.

In 2012 a report by the National Trust entitled 'Natural Childhood' highlighted how today's children are losing touch with the natural world and the long term effect this can have on a child's education and health. It found that fewer than 1 in 10 children play regularly in wild places and that time spent playing in parks, woods, and fields has reduced dramatically due to digital technology, lack of time and green spaces and also parental fears.

It’s a rlly good school! I used to go there now I left but I miss it smuch! Most the teachers there are friendly and kind and they always help you with ur problems! I think most children that attend are happy and they feel safe. I certainly know I did! Anyways hope you considered this school, bye hope this helped

Absolutely would NOT recommend sending your child to this school my son only started after September last year 2018 after moving to this area I feel horrible for even changing his schools now as he gets bullied everyday an dosnt get sorted! The teachers look at you like your something on the bottom of the shoe!! No communication at all but will send letters of concerns about late marks bare in mind I don’t give my son irelivant days off I still get him there! When your on time the teachers like to ignore you it’s like they like to make a statement to the class who’s the one always late but
