Whitehouse Primary School
Applications should be made online, via the EA website at www.eani.org.uk/admissions. We are very proud of our school and honoured that so many parents entrust us with the care and education of their children. We have 4 key values which underpin who we are as a school family and what we strive to achieve for our children.

You can watch the video below and others on Facebook to see what life is like at Whitehouse! We would love to welcome you and your child as part of our Whitehouse family. If you have any questions regarding applying for a place for your child please contact us on 02890869252 and we will be happy to help.

We aim to provide an education that is more than a means to an end. High academic achievements are important but they are only one part of the wider education we provide. If a child leaves our school highly literate and numerate without developing a joy of learning and the ability to see the value in themselves and others we have not achieved our goals.
Thank you for showing an interest in our school. We are very proud to be part of Whitehouse Primary School. In our school badge you will notice that there is a phoenix. The reason for the inclusion of this mythical creature is linked to perhaps our darkest days. Just over eight years ago our old school building was burned down.
In addition to our whole school ethos Whitehouse Primary School & Nursery Unit has a Safeguarding and Pastoral Care Team. This team is led by Miss Blain and Mrs Watson and they are supported closely by Mrs Clifford and Mrs Spratt. Mrs Baillie (Chairperson of the Board of Governors) and Mrs Douglas (Safeguarding & Child Protection - E Safety Governor) are also members of the team and receive regular updates and attend meetings throughout the year.
Safeguarding & Child Protection - The full policy. This document is accessible within school and copies provided given 24 hours' notice. Parents of all Y1 pupils and new starts will be issued with a copy of the school's Safeguarding & Child Protection policy. This is issued to all pupils annually with helpful tips and guidance on safeguarding and wellbeing.
At Whitehouse Primary School there are currently a number of provisions in place to ensure that our pupils receive the most pastoral and effective care possible. Within the school we have a number of staff who possess up-to-date qualifications in First Aid. To achieve these, they have undertaken First Aid training which is regularly refreshed through the year.
