Services
Located in the stannary town of Plympton St Maurice, on the edge of Plymouth in Devon, St Elizabeth's House is a beautiful example of a plush Georgian manor. It was built in the 17th century, and used as a convent for some of the last century. Following a sympathetic upgrade and spectacular conversion, the house took on its current form as a hotel.
Our gift vouchers are a great way to give someone an indulgent experience at St Elizabeth's House. Whether it's an overnight stay in one of our boutique bedrooms, a fine dining meal, or afternoon tea, there's plenty of pleasure to be had with our hotel vouchers. A voucher makes the ideal present for a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion for friends or family to enjoy.
Each of our 15 unique designer rooms at St Elizabeth's House blends contemporary comforts with the hotel's wonderful Georgian heritage. Enjoy the luxury of a Vispring mattress, 42-inch TV, luxury bathrobe and slippers, and chic oak furnishings. Plus, a separate bath and shower feature in the en-suite of every room.

The marquee will be provided by an external supplier who will be in contact once a booking is secured with the venue.

Bit disappointing. We went for afternoon tea, with prosecco, pre booked. Prosecco wasn't even offered!
It is also very disappointing that those ordering an alternative to standard afternoon tea, e.g dairy free, recieved less food.
Also disappointing that the food offered was less in variety too....2 choices of sandwich (compared to 4 types of sandwich and quiche in a standard) and only 2 cakes (aside from the scone), compared to at least 4 varies of sweet on a standard offer.....but....still had to pay the same price.
It was a very nice setting, but I would have expected more from St Elizabeth

Went to a wedding here, it was a beautiful setting for a lovely day. The food and service was outstanding, the staff were very attentive and seemed happy in their job, which makes me think it would be a nice place to work.
I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to hold your wedding and reception combined.

Truly faultless, wonderfully cheerful and thoughtful service in warm, clean, cosy surroundings. A family business that knows how to do hospitality to a very high standard indeed. The dinner menu is wide ranging, mouth-watering and superbly executed. Very happy to be here a second night and would love to return.
