Lovely food from their Sunday roast to fish & chips ( best chips I've ever tasted), king prawn linguine delicious! I have visited this pub on a number of occasions since the lockdown was lifted and i can honestly say that this place is my guilty pleasure. The food is always excellent, totally recommend the soup of the day and half baguette, at very very reasonable prices.
This is one place that i always feel i get my money's worth with large portions of well cooked food. It is very obvious that the kitchen staff are proud of what they produce and the front of house service is excellent. Always welcomed with a smile and nothing is ever too much the bar staff would be a credit to any well established high end restaurant.

The George & Falcon is a Grade II listed building dating back to the 16th Century located on the A32 in the beautiful village of Warnford, near Winchester. Full of Character and traditional features, our country pub really is a hidden gem offering fantastic experience to locals and visitors from further afield.

Beautiful country pub! Friendly and very welcoming atmosphere. Booked to have my mums 60th birthday surprise birthday and nothing was to much..the girls even helped us put the decorations up. Food was on time even though there was 23 people with us Food was delicious and the hot chocolate is beautiful!.

On Tuesday of this week, we had a gathering of colleagues who used to work together ten years ago to celebrate Christmas. The food was lovely, and we will certainly be back! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful in the evening, and a big thank you must go to Beth for the help in the organisation and keeping us supplied with food and drink on the night…..

The staff, the surroundings, the decor and the food are just perfect. I don’t normally write reviews out of laziness but have only just got home from having lunch in this pub and feel that they deserve me breaking that routine. My partner doesn’t eat much and isn’t a fan of roast dinners… I once had to show him photos of vegetables to explain what they were as I don’t think he’d heard of one let alone eaten one but today he cleared his plate of a roast, veg and all! Best food I’ve had in a long time

Had a car meeting here today with preordered lunches. Beth was very accommodating on the email and phone. We all had coffee and teas on arrival in the lounge area as it was raining heavily. They couldn't do enough for us, Miriam gave us First Class faultless service at lunch with no errors with the food order. I must say everyone enjoyed their food which was way above ordinary pub-food quality and very reasonably priced.

Amazing place. Super friendly service and nice food. The garden is picturesque and perfect if walking the South Downs. The children enjoyed their meals and I enjoyed mine! No complaints.
If you're coming from the south and are thinking about stopping at Samuel's Rest....don't. Do the extra 4 miles and have a decent meal with lovely friendly service.
