We enjoyed a 2 night stay with our dog in this beautiful castle close to Kielder Forest. Not long after the opening up after Covid restrictions, this was a long needed break from our own four walls and we honestly couldn't have picked a better destination. This family run hotel is run so smoothly, from the delicious meals and swift timing between each course, to the friendliness of all the staff. This kind of service is a rare find and makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable break. Alex, who looked after us at dinner and breakfast time, also makes stunning chopping/serving boards from wood locally
