The Rocking Horse Pre-school and Nursery is a small rural childcare and Pre-school facility providing care for children form birth to 5 years We also provide before, after school and holiday care. We work in partnership with parents to give the best possible start for all children. We believe all children are unique so we aim to provide an environment where all these styles can be addressed.
Services
The Rocking Horse Nursery Oxenhope, has been a part of the village community for 20+ years and has seen many of its past children grow into young adults and teenagers. We are proud that we were a part of their early development and believe that education at an early age gives your child that extra step in life.
On the ground floor we have a room for 3-4 year old children with an attached toilet unit. The area is organised to allow for a variety of learning opportunities for the children that cover all areas of their learning. There is direct access to a covered out door play area and uncovered area where the children can undertake a variety of learning activities.
We believe all children are unique and have individual learning styles so we aim to provide an environment where all these styles can be addressed. The toys and equipment in all areas of the nursery have been carefully chosen with special consideration to the age of the child, the child's safety, their educational development, and opportunity for imaginative play and social interaction.
