Recruitment and interview process/on-boarding was great. Timesheet and Expenses portal is poor (Expenses has never worked in over 6 months); response to queries is slow, especially when your contact doesn't work Fridays and the "info" email never responds. Xmas payroll hours are disappointing given that Friday 31st is a normal working day.

After what felt like a promising start as a candidate for a role Allen Lane have been recruiting for (in fact according to their rep the manager for this role is also one of their placed people), my experience on the day of a planned interview has been between appalling and outright soul destroying.
On my CV I disclose the fact I have a disability, I've done this with every CV and application since 2012 as my disability isn't immediately obvious (High Functioning Autism) and under the terms of the Equality Act 2010 it is a defence for employers/recruiters if they couldn't reasonably have known

I have been aware of Allen Lane for a while now but hadn’t had any experience working with them until recently. I am working my current contract through them and they are fantastic! My consultant Scott is great, always available, open and honest regarding anything and everything you discuss, which is what a contractor needs. I couldn’t fault him or the agency, would recommend to anyone for opportunities in and around London. I see myself working with them for the foreseeable future. Keep up the good work!

This is because I was working with the lovely Brooke Cooper.
