We have visited the pub today. It was absolutely lovely. Our food was amazing, it was cooked to our requirements and the presentation was great, the customer service was amazing as well. Susan (Sue) who was with us from the time we entered until we left was absolutely fantastic! In general all staff was very friendly! Really great atmosphere. We celebrated my mothers birthday there. Thank you so much for a lovely time at your pub we could also bring our own cake and it was delivered to our table when we were ready. Would definitely recommend this pub to anyone and definitely will be back.

An incredible experience at the Dial Arch for our wedding brunch reception. We were served by Sue and as a party of 14 she was kept extremely busy but did not let this show. She was friendly, efficient and went above and beyond for us. All staff at the Dial Arch were fantastic, Sue exceptionally so. We could not have asked for a better place to host this important day. Food was amazing, table location was amazing, drinks were quick to arrive, all staff smiling and happy. All round 5/5!!

Our hostess was Sue, she is super friendly, helpful and an absolute hoot!
She is a pleasure around Dial Arch.
The food (Halloumi Fries and Chicken Pie) and cocktails are amazing, fresh and generous.
I would highly recommend coming here especially if Sue attends to us again 😁😁
A definite 5 star place

What a roast!! I think I couldn’t move afterwards… so stuffed! The pork belly is delicious, the Yorkshire pudding is gigantic, the veggies and roasted carrots are delicious… only negative note the potatoes were a bit dry:) but such a nice pub!

Comfortable seats, cozy vibe. Generally super friendly staff but only once i was waiting for my Guiness like nearly half an hour and didnt really get attention from staff. Apart from that day, I always have good time here. Definitely my favorite local pub to hang around!

Amazing roast!
Great service from Laura. The food was great! The salt beef croquettes were amazing and the roast lamb was tender, succulent and full of flavour! We almost went to the guardhouse but luckily we changed our minds and went to the dial arch. Would definitely recommend 👍🏾

I've just moved here and I went to Dial Arch to explore the lunch menu. I've loved the rustic vibe and the courtesy of the Staff. In special Norbert was very nice and he helped us understand the menu and whatnot. I definitely will visit it again.

Cheers.

Great pub. Great beers! Best hang out place. This is where Arsenal has moved from Plumstead in early 1900's and played. It has great seating area packed with old chesterfield sofas, a great fire place and outdoors beer garden for sunny days. Great selection of Beer and Ale and friendly service. Don't for get to try the Camembert!!

The decor and building are lovely....the food is hit and miss.....the staff are great if you get them on a good day overall I like it here. the vibe is lovely and so mediocre food and overpriced drinks are a compromise.....speaking of drinks, yes they are overpriced but wow what a selection - and some local brews too....it's a yes from me

A group of us visited for a family meal. The decor and seating was nice. The menu on paper looked OK. I ordered the trio of roasts for £22. I thought it would be a decent amount of select meats. Unfortunately it was a half roasted chicken, a small amount of pork and a sliver of beef propped up with veg underneath! The Yorkshire pudding was ok, but the meal wasn't worth the price.
Dessert was a sticky toffee pudding with custard. It was very sweet, too much sugar.

Service wasn't anything to boast about. Staff weren't bothered to engage or crack a smile, which was disappointing.

Was invited to a beer tasting event at the Dial Arch. Didn't know what to expect to find at the of the DLR line, I was impressed.
The Dial Arch is a large spacious pub/restaurant. It had a very comfy atmosphere that feels like a great place to relax and hang out with friends.
The event was fun with food matching with each beer. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I look forward when I can return back to Woolwich and the Dial Arch, maybe next time will be for their quiz night or sunny summers day.

Managed to get tickets to a free beer tasting (Monteith's Craft Beer) here. I found the atmosphere to be very welcoming and relaxed.

Other than enjoying a range of amazing free beer with small portions of perfectly paired food dishes, we also spent a good amount of time lounging on the comfy sofas they have spaced around the bar/dining area.

Only notice on our way out that they offer board games for customers and hot water bottles with blankets for customers that are cold or want to sit outside.

It's a shame the pub is so far from central London. I would be a frequent visitor if

The food is overpriced for what you're getting, which is partially missing, cold, or microwaved, served by clueless staff that is neither particularly friendly nor interested. Tried again a few times with similar experiences such as plastic in food, or chewing gum in napkin. However the place looks cosy and gorgeous and the bar section is very good for drinks! So, come for drinks, avoid the food.

Good selection at the bar with helpful staff. Plenty of space inside with both open-plan and nooks 'n' crannies to hide away in. Pleasant atmosphere with a nice seating area out the front on the old cobble-stones. Couple of minutes walk from the river if you fancy a stroll. Good pub food menu too.

This pub is great and really feels like a hidden gem! Tucked away next to the Royal Arsenal Riverside flats this pub is in a lovely setting! There is ample seating outside and plenty inside too. This pub is huge! There is a great selection of drinks and the food is delicious and served in huge portions. We went recently for a birthday celebration on a Sunday and the roasts were delicious! I had the veggie offering (despite being a meat eater) which was Brie and mushroom Wellington with spinach and all the trimmings, it was amazing!

I really recommend this place they have tons of events including

Very nice pub but really expensive. Best to come here for a few rather then for a night out but then I guess it's better to pay more for a nicer atmosphere.

A great stylish pub in a lovely developed space and on the site of Arsenal's first match. Well worth stopping for a pint or good pub food plus there's plenty of outdoor seats if the wether's behaving.

Best pub in the local area. Unfortunately very expensive drinks (£5 for a cider) and the food is not particularly good. Do not plan on eating a great meal here - if you expect mediocre then you will not be disappointed.

However, it's a nice environment both inside and outside the pub. Lots of seating, so unlikely to be left standing.
