At 'I Learn Education' we provide a friendly child centred approach to childcare. We encourage each individual child to make their own choices and establish their own ideas towards promoting competent communication and learning. This means children take command of their own learning.

Services
We are not a setting who have planned themes, but instead foster a child centred approach, following each child's interests and planning activities to support them and their individual needs. Many settings sit down and plan a theme for every week. It could be transport, it could be rockets, under the sea or it could be animals.
Forest school is an outdoor education delivery model in which children visit natural spaces to learn personal, social and technical skills. It has been defined as "an inspirational process that offers children regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence through hands-on learning in a woodland environment".
For children who only access 2, 3 or 4 year old free funding, parents have the choice of paying an additional fee for our meals or having sessions that do not include mealtimes. I Learn Education offers parents free settling in sessions. These introductory sessions are designed to introduce your child to the nursery gradually and give you the opportunity to discuss your child's individual needs within the nursery.
At I Learn Education meal times are happy, relaxed social occasions. Children sit in small groups at tables, and older children serve themselves lunch. Healthy eating is not just about what we put on the plate. It is about educating the children and giving them the knowledge and independence to make healthy choices that will leave them in good stead for the future.
I Learn Education values the abilities and achievements of each individual child, and is committed to providing an inclusive service that gives each child the best possible environment for learning and development. We know that from our own experience observing family and friends that children and indeed adults learn in different ways.
