We had the most delicious Sunday lunch meal today for my dad's 80th birthday. Roast beef and pork were divine. Salmon on roasted veg was perfectly cooked. My teen daughter (very picky) devoured the carrot & Parsnip soup along with three medley of vegetables for the roast... this was nothing short of a miracle!!! 🐷. Desserts were amazing. Five very happy eaters. 5 stars 🌟

Very easy to get to and good parking.
We booked a table and this was reserved for us (17:30). As per covid instructions we had to wear masks to be seated which was done quickly. Our drinks order was taken straight away. The specials board was then brought over and we had a menu on the table.
15 mins later someone came and took our order. We had the set Sunday lunch menu which cost £18.95 for 2 courses. We also asked for a jug of water which was provided with both ice lemon.
I ordered the turkey roast and prawn with crayfish starter. Really enjoyed the starter. The turkey was very well cooked

Paige was our server and she did a wonderful job of making our party of six feel welcome.
After sampling our shared starter of baked Camembert we enjoyed char-grilled pork, sea bass, steak and ale pie, chicken curry with veggies and fries. It being Shrove Tuesday, we had pancakes for dessert.
This is the place to go if you fancy pub fare or a restaurant quality meal.

The Walnut Tree is a large and spacious country-style pub next to the main road junction in the village of Runcton, a few miles south of Chichester. It's very popular at week-ends (especially Sunday lunch) and in the evenings.
The original pub building has been much extended, and has several interconnected rooms, all decorated in a rustic style with bits of rural memorabilia. It also has a very pleasant and spacious beer garden, with a patio area and lawns shaded by mature trees, with lots of tables for outdoor eating and drinking. It's rather close to the roundabout, but this didn
