Services
We are very proud of our enthusiastic and dedicated team of nursery nurses who work closely together across all aspects of the nursery, supporting and mentoring each other. They have been chosen for their ability to provide the highest standards of care to each baby/ child in their supervision, and their commitment to delivering an excellent service to the families who come to us.
The environment at Daisychain is set up to ensure it is stimulating for all our children; that it offers inquisitive and critical thinking and also allows them to actively explore their environment in safe and secure surroundings. Our rooms are set up daily according to the children attending that day.
Daisychain Nursery has signed up to follow the Early Years Code of Practice for Healthy Food and Drink. We consult with families and children and keep them informed about issues relating to food and drink. Older children are involved in serving meals and help to set the table and tidy up after meals and snack times.
On the first floor you will find the baby room, which has been designed for crawling, taking those wobbly first steps and making lots of mess with baby-friendly materials. Next to this is the toddler room, separated by room dividers that allow the two age groups to mix. This means that sibling that are close in age can still share their nursery experience together despite being in different rooms.
Daisychain is blessed to have extensive out door areas. Our beautiful outdoor area is divided into three sections. The large grassy space with fruit and vege patch, climbing apparatus, wooden fort, trampoline and mud kitchen, is perfect for burning off energy, keeping active and exploring the natural world.
