Ben was born and bred in Gravesend, although his family has close links to SE1 dating back to the late 1800s. After working for a number of Central London estate agencies, Ben joined forces with Lee in 2012 to set up Garrett Whitelock. As well as working as an estate agent since 2001, Ben is a property owner and landlord himself, giving him a greater appreciation of the challenges some of Garrett Whitelock's clients face.
He loves his job and thrives on getting out and about, meeting new people and seeing a wide variety of different properties in SE1 and the surrounding areas. Ben is married and currently lives in West Wickham. His interests outside work include Crystal Palace FC, cats and American cars - in no particular order.

Despite their small size, Garrett Whitelock is an amazing real estate agent that takes care of everything for you. We had issues with our WiFi and with one bathroom, one email and everything was fixed quickly within days. Great reactivity and always available. I am trying to rent another flat through them because of their professionalism.

My experience with GarrettWhitelock has been exceptional. We decided to rent our property due to a change in circumstance and GW has made the process so simple and straightforward. The speed with their responses to emails has been outstanding, including answering during the Bank holiday period. From my initial phone call to a tenant moving in, was an incredible 17 days. Where else can you get service like that! I have other properties I let, I just wish there was a GarrettWhielock in the other area as we would definitely move all our business to them.

Overall a good agency, however we personally have experienced a rushed offer-move in which has proved problematic and left us feeling as though there is room for improvement - we had to chase documents and to be kept in the loop pre-move, and the property came needing important technical repairs (entry intercom for example) and faulty fob keys that would've been resolved beforehand had this process not have been rushed to be such a quick turnover.

I've been dealing with Ben for a number of years and keeping tabs with him whilst renting my property, with a view (following a move to Australia) to use his services for a sale when the time came. It's been a tricky year, throwing in a pandemic and doing all of this from overseas, it was good to know I had someone I could trust to keep things moving along for me. Ben was always available to look after things and sometimes on my behalf, especially with time differences to step in when required - i'm extremely grateful for all his hard work and can't recommend Garrett Whitelock highly enough. Garret Whitelock have found me tenants for about 5 years running now, and I have come to really appreciate their consistency and professionalism over that time.
They arranged and managed several viewings in the first 2 weeks, while other local estate agents (who shall remain nameless) had 0 viewings and suggested that the 'market was slow'.
As a landlord, I can recommend them without reservation.

Garrett Whitelock is a great estate agent. When we were looking for a property to rent in London, we had many bad experiences before we met Lee. It's a small agency compared to others, but they offer good and honest services. We really enjoyed our time in our great apartment in SE1. Whenever we had a problem regarding maintenance, they tried to solve this as soon as possible. We very much recommend to use their services if you're looking for a place in SE1 in London.
