Boiler stoves are a great alternative to standard gas or oil central heating systems. Having a boiler stove allows you to heat your radiators and have the benefit of a fire at the same time. If you'd like a boiler stove installed just get in touch. Boiler stoves act much the same way as standard dry stoves except they have a tank of water attached to the chassis of the stove.
If you have an old chimney it's best practice to line it. The liner creates a direct and even channel between the wood burner and the top of the chimney, which means soot and tar have less uneven surfaces to stick to. Any soot or tar that is created is much more likely to fall back into the burner to be recombusted.
Rigid twin wall flue is used where there isn't an existing chimney. It's a little larger than flexible liner because it's built with a layer of insulation between two sheets of stainless steel. The standard diameter of twin wall for a wood burning stove would be 200mm external / 150mm internal.

From the initial site visit and assistance finding the perfect oak beam to compliment the room and chosen stove, to the skilled construction work and following clean up and finally the smooth installation, the Stoake team were brilliant. I don't often leave Google reviews but felt compelled to after having a stove fitted by Stoake. The entire experience was seamless and we are very satisfied with the end product. I was expecting this to be a messy/complicated job but the team at Stoake were efficient and neat, and provided lots of helpful information along the way. One of the best companies that I have ever interacted with, I would highly recommend!

The good folks at Stoake were excellent in helping me fit a new wood stove in our Victorian London home. Clear in the benefits, they answered all my questions, and they carried out the work promptly and neatly. Very polite and worth enquiring particular if you live in London and miss a wood fire! Would happily suggest them to anyone and use them again.

The whole Stoake team were wonderful throughout the process of installing a woodburner in our new home. Great advice, responsive in all communication, really nice and considerate to our needs and thinking, and then just fantastic in person installation staff who visited to plan and then install the final product. I highly recommend Stoake! My new stove was installed yesterday, and I love the results. They were responsive and transparent throughout the process, and I was happy with the communication. On both days of construction and installation, they arrived punctually and took care to cover furniture and leave no mess. Overall, I was impressed with the professionalism.

We had our log burner replaced by Stoake last week, and chose them because of their eco credentials even though there are cheaper options available. We were not disappointed! Not only was the service fantastic- polite, pleasant and professional, the log burner looks wonderful and we are delighted that our burner has zero emissions. We were given a clear and comprehensive 'lesson' about how to successfully use the burner and luckily for us it has been very cold so we have been able to use it. Very happy customers! Would recommend without hesitation.

"Yeeeeaaaahhh my stove is on fiiiiiire". Exceptionally pleased with my whole Stoake experience. Everyone I spoke to and met were incredibly kind and helpful. They discussed every element with me. The installation itself had a slight hiccup due to a cheeky brick but they weren't phased at all & quickly rearranged an alternative date. There was no mess left whatsoever. Thank you!
