Please note, Woodchuckers & Just Fit Fires only install wood & multi fuel stoves into existing brick built chimneys. We install fireplace surrounds and hearths as part of stove installations but we no longer install decorative or open fireplaces. Extremely happy with my recent log burner installation. Jim and Jack carried out the work quickly and efficiently, with minimal disruption. I would definitely recommend Just Fit Fires/Woodchuckers to anyone thinking of having a stove fitted. Genuinely nice, trustworthy guys who take pride in their work. Jim and Jack made a highly technical stove installation look easy. Everything went to plan from start to finish, from breaking out the chimney, installing the hearth and flue, fitting the fire, air vent, CO sensor. Everything on time, clean and tidy. Useful knowledgeable advice, very pleased with every aspect of the installation.

Really pleased with our new bedroom fireplace that was expertly fitted by Jim and Jack.
Jim was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We also bought the slate hearth through Colin at The Fireplace Hearth and were really happy with his service too.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them both!

I would highly recommend Woodchuckers if you need a stove installed. I initially spoke to Colin on the phone who was very helpful and was happy to take the time to talk me through what was included in the quote and the service provided. After discussing what we’d like installed he suggested an alternative stove which was just as good but half the price.
Jim and Jack came round to install the stove and cracked on despite the 50mph winds outside. They were polite, friendly and took the time to wrap furniture and cover the floor. They did a brilliant job installing the stove and explaining how

Colin was excellent to deal with from start to finish. Very professional and really helpful when answering questions about installing the wood stove. The fitters did a brilliant job and Jim kept me in the loop throughout the two days that they were at my house. Worked with minimal fuss and left everything tidy. Very pleased overall and I would highly recommend Colin and his company.

All the up front preparation with Colin was made with a few emails and photos, along with his (independent) advice & guidance on the best range of wood burning stoves, hearths & beam to meet the latest/future regs and our aesthetic requirements.
This was quickly turned into a comprehensive quote, with the only parts needing to be supplied by us was the stove & beam.
After a bit of a wait due to the popularity of the stove, installers Jim & Jack were on site to open up the existing fireplace and install a new lintel.
The existing flue was power cleaned and inspected

Colin and Jim are complete professionals and would completely recommend to anyone. Even with issues Jim didn't give up and sorted the problem for us and we are now left with the most beautiful feature stove/fire place. Everything is covered once installation was complete from care, what to expect and useful contacts (which was great as we knew nothing). Super nice guys and knowledgeable.

Had these guys in to line our chimney, install a chimney pot and fit our Capital wood burning stove, slate hearth and limestone surround about 3 years ago. They were just phenomenal from start to finish and we couldn't have been more pleased with the result. They paid attention to detail and cleaned up once done too. So why am I writing this review now? Well our rear flue blanking plate sheered off at some point between this season and last (probably due to metal expansion). Thankfully Capital offer a lifetime warranty on parts so they sent out replacements. I was a little hesitant to do the repair

Have used Colin & Jim at Just Fit Fires / Woodchuckers to fit 4 fireplaces and 2 stoves in two projects over the last few years. The most recent installation was a double-sided stove that looks absolutely fantastic. Their service is always excellent and I have never had a single issue with them. They are professional, helpful and fairly priced. Always willing to go that extra mile to complete everything seamlessly.
