Here is a little more about my background and the way that I work with clients. As I mentioned on the home page, I am a Psychologist with over 30 years clinical experience working therapeutically with people of all ages. I initially studied psychology as an undergraduate at the University of Melbourne in the 1970s, and completed my postgraduate qualifications at Monash University in the early 80s.
These are both highly regarded Australian Universities. I then completed a two year psychology internship, and have done an enormous amount of training and supervised practice since then. I joined the APS in Australia many years ago and was registered there. I moved to the UK in the early 2000s, and have since become a Registered Psychologist here with the HCPC [PLY31854].

Services
In this time-precious age that we live in, getting to a therapist is not always convenient. Committments such as work, travel, chores, social activities and children can sometimes get in the way. Or perhaps you have transport issues, or live too far away from Brighton and Hove, where I am based. You are in luck.
I thought it would be helpful to say a few words about privacy and confidentiality. As a professional psychologist who has been a committed member of the Australian Psychological Society [APS] for decades, your privacy is very important to me. My relationship with you will be confidential.
That means I will not communicate with others about you or aspects of your life without your permission, whether you are interacting with me online, by phone or Skype, or face to face. And of course, I will not pass your email address or other details on to any other party or organisation. Your privacy is safe with me.

I you would like to find out more about the way I think and work, you might want to explore my psychology blog site, Psychology Through the Internet. Psychology Through the Internet is a magazine style website with loads of articles addressing typical psychological issues faced by all sorts of people: individuals, couples, children and parents.
