We became passionate about modifying our own vans, so that they were right for our needs. Friends and family wanted one too and the company was born! We started in a small workshop with two men and a dog and have grown naturally as demand for our vans built for adventure has increased. We now have a small dedicated team and have located ourselves to a custom workshop where we can work on up to 7 vans.
Here at The Bristol Camper Company, we are proud of our reputation and we only select used vans of a high standard to be considered for our forecourt. Once at our establishment, the vans go through a rigorous multi point check process and supplied with a minimum of 6 months MOT. For peace of mind we additionally offer an in-house 6 months mechanical warranty.
The Bristol Camper Company's reputation is built on high quality construction and excellent customer service throughout the build process. We use well-known products within our camper builds. Most of the roofs we supply and fit come with a 5 year warranty and RIBbeds come with a 2 years warranty.
Officially, the rest of our conversion work has a 12 months warranty, however we pride ourselves in our after sales service and will help our customers as best as we can with any issues or enquiries they may have.We are developing our Racehome and Motorhome designs and hope to be able to release some new designs in Spring 2022.

The Volkswagen Transporter, based on the Volkswagen Group's T platform, is now in its sixth generation. This refers to a series of vans produced for over 60 years and generations are sequentially named T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T5.1 and T6. Recently launched is the new T6.1 in 2020. These vehicles are popular amongst customers when it comes to getting small vans converted.
From the beginning, we have pride ourselves on building high quality VW Transporters coversions. Throughout the years we developed, and fine tuned multiple layouts to suit different customers and their needs. We saw the Camper Van online and rang Adelle. Adelle was very knowledgeable about the interior and answered all of our questions. We made arrangements to buy the camper over the phone and paid a deposit. All went very smoothly, I must admit I was a bit apprehensive about paying for a van we hadn't seen! From the designing ,fitting and delivery of my camper the whole set up as been 1st class you could not ask for a more friendly, professional service, i would and do recommend them to everyone..
After sales is also brilliant , this week we were due to go away and i needed a small issue sorted with the leisure battery , not only was the call answered, dealt with brilliantly , i was at unit the following morning early ,the problem was solved and i was on the road by 9.00am, just a very well run company that always looks after customers ..keep up the great work.

Wow ! I cannot sing the company’s praises highly enough. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship is second to none. Their friendly and welcoming staff are knowledgeable in all aspects and made the whole process completely stress free. Since having the van converted by Bristol Camper Company a few years ago, I have had to pop back to have them look at a few things that have stopped working. This has nothing to do with their original installation which I am very pleased with, and they have always been very helpful, sorting things out for me. It is my preferred place to take the van to when I need anything doing.

We recently purchased a T6 from the Bristol Camper Company and can honestly say we have been so impressed with the whole service. From start to finish it has been a very smooth transaction and we have been updated throughout the whole process. We are now waiting to get some upgrades done with them due to the knowledge and craftsmanship that we experienced when talking to the team about what we wanted. Would definitely recommend chatting to these guys if you are in the market for a VW campervan.

Customer Service, Cost, Speed, finish. You name it, these guys have got it.
I took my standard T5 panel van to them for Bulkhead removal, windows, electrics, insulation, plylining and carpeting. They were friendly and quick with their responses. I picked my van back up two weeks later and it was amazing. Finished perfectly, sockets exactly where I had asked (to the cm pretty much), much better than expected. Best thing is, they were a lot cheaper than all of the other companies I approached for the same job and much more friendly.
