We are a small family run provider, who has offered early years care and education in Solihull for over 37 years! Brilliant nursery, all the staff are wonderful and caring. I was so nervous about my twins going to a nursery but the minute I met the staff I knew it was the one. They treated the twins like they were their own.
Nothing was too much. They helped with potty training, sleep and food habits, I can't thank you all enough! Lawnswood Childcare - Streetsbrook Road is fantastic. Both my children absolutely love it there, talk about everything they did when they get home, and can't wait to go again, even on none nursery days.

Established in 1984 and Originally run by husband and wife team Paul and Lynda Morley, Lawnswood Childcare is now directed by their daughter Heather Morley. With over 13 years experience, Heather is passionate about providing an exceptional experience for the children and families who attend our nurseries.

Streetsbrook Road nursery is Lawnswood Childcare's original setting. It is a 71 place nursery, with four rooms which accommodate children according to their age and stage of development. Shirley Heath nursery has been open for more than 22 years! It is our smallest nursery with 32 places across two rooms.
Castle Bromwich nursery is our newest nursery, though we have been offering early years services there for over 14 years! It is a 61 place nursery that currently operates from three rooms, that accommodate for children according to their age and stage of development.

Shirley Heath nursery has been open for more than 23 years! It is our smallest nursery with 32 places across two rooms. At all Lawnswood nurseries we aim to foster children's creativity, curiosity, exploration, critical thinking and overall wellbeing. We encourage children to express their individual thoughts, feelings and ideas in a variety of ways, including art, music, dance, role play, construction and in our outdoor environments.

I would highly recommend Lawnswood Streetsbrook Road to any parent. I have been really impressed with the nursery since our daughter joined 2 years ago. The staff are incredibly kind and nurturing and I trust them implicitly with looking after her, and putting her interests first. The staff in the baby room were fantastic at dealing with her when she first joined and calming her down when she was upset. This can be traumatic for new parents but the staff were great at providing reassurance throughout the day by sending pictures and videos through the app. In the toddler room staff were brilliant

I highly recommend this nursery. The staff are so friendly and are amazing with my little girl, they are a credit to the business. My little girl can’t wait to go to nursery and gets so excited to go. I couldn’t imagine my little one going anywhere else and will be sending my second when he is ready. For any parents trusting people they don’t know to look after their child, it’s scary. Especially after the many lockdowns and not really leaving your child with family much. When I first visited the nursery for a show around I was put at ease with the various covid measures they had in place. When meeting the ladies in the baby room they all seemed very lovely and knowledgeable and keen to learn about my son.
The drop offs can seem upsetting in the beginning but the ladies are lovely and soon build a bond with the children. My son now happily walks into nursery with a smile on his face. I’m

My wife and I are new parents so when choosing a nursery for the first time we found it to be a very nervous experience - especially when it comes to trusting someone to look after your child (I'm sure loads of you can relate to this). We did lots (and lots) of research and found Lawnswood to be the best in the area. My wife attended the tour (only one parent allowed because of covid) and she found it to be excellent. The toys, activities and atmosphere was so inviting. At the end of everyday we get a sheet of paper with his feeding, nappy change and nap times listed and what he had for meals and

My third child is almost ready to leave Streetsbrook Nursery and we’ll be really sad to say goodbye to everyone at Lawnswood. They have cared brilliantly for all 3 of my children and my children have loved their time there. Will continue to recommend the nursery to everyone! It’s been so lovely to leave my children somewhere I’m happy knowing they will be well cared for and with people I trust xx

I started using the Streetsbrook Nursery on the recommendation of a friend. My son has attended for three years and my daughter now attends as well. I am very pleased with the nursery. Both children love attending and are well cared for. Staff are professional and friendly. The building seems to work well and there is the bonus of plenty of outside space. I would not hesitate to recommend Lawnswood to others.

Streetsbrook Road nursery is brilliant. Both of our children have been very happy there and I have felt comfortable leaving them and knowing the are happy and safe while I work long hours.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. They do loads of fun creative, educational and sometimes messy activities whilst exposing them to different cultures and religions through celebrations. They are also very competent at looking after the children when they are under the weather.
I particularly love the community feel with family involvement at mothers and Father’s Day celebrations, Christmas events

Both of my sons have been attending this nursery since they were 10/11 months old and are now 2 and 4 years old. They absolutely love it and are always excited to go. It is very well run and the staff really care about the children. I couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery and would recommend it to everyone.

My Son has went to Lawnswood for a year now and he loves it there and is very well looked after. He does different crafts each week and is always kept busy and fed well. I was recommended this nursery from multiple different mums and now I always make sure I recommended to other mums when I get the chance!

My 2 children have attended Lawnswood Streetsbrook Road - my youngest is still there. It is a lovely nursery, with welcoming, friendly and caring staff. My boys love every minute, and always go in happily every morning. There are plenty of fun and education activities while at nursery and lots of creative/fancy dress type activities to take part in through the year. I have constant updates on my children's development through the EYFS tool, and there is always a thorough debrief at the end of each day. I would definitely recommend.
