Collection is from our site just outside Guildford. There's free, secure parking for your car and you can visit The New Forest which is only 60 miles from our base.

Services
We're Rod & Charlie, lovers of VW campers and all they symbolise to us; fun, smiles, good times and getting back to 'real' living. We've toured the UK and abroad, spent thousands of hours (and pounds) bringing campers back from the dead, enjoying many adventures with our children. Retrocampervan was established in 2012 with our first campervan, Mango.
As true lovers of VWs and with years spent camper-vanning we have had many memorable and fun times. We believe anyone can unwind and enjoy a fabulous experience with one of our campers and want to make sure you leave with great memories and big smiles when you hire from us. We're passionate and enthusiastic, but also believe in running a well organised and professional service.
We are dog friendly. Please bring plenty of dog blankets with you to protect the camper upholstery from sharp claws and muddy paws! We do occasionally levy a small charge of 25 if the camper needs a thorough clean due to malting and needs extra cleaning. Awnings can be provided but are subject to availability, please call ahead to check our stock levels.
Our beautiful campers make the perfect mode of transport for any special occasion and we have enjoyed working with customers that have chosen us to create a fun and unique way to celebrate a great event. We can tailor packages to suit and believe that your day should go uninterrupted, safe in the knowledge that we are delivering just the sort of experience you first imagined when you spoke to us.
Bespoke vinyl and fabric seating for Rock & Roll beds, buddy seats, bench seats, cab seats and more. Any 2 colour rock and roll beds complete with fluting, piping and foam from 400. Bay window door panel package (13 items) from 450 made using oil tempered fibreboard resistant to moisture and warping.

Having recently returned from a successful camping trip with the hire of a retro camper van, I can honestly say the experience was amazing and that I have now fulfilled a life long ambition to drive and stay in one of these beautiful vans. I cannot thank Rod enough for all that was done to make our journey and time spent in the van memorable.

Fantastic week with Mango. Mango became a travelling base for an activity holiday for my two teenage sons and me. She became very much a part of the holiday and in the end we just loved all her idiosyncrasies. She was very reliable but you have to plan ahead to allow for her - whether that is getting somewhere or just braking for a junction :-)

Just come back from a fabulous week in Sussex travelling around in Molly. The whole experience has been great and I would thoroughly recommend booking through Rod at RetroCampervan. Booking was straightforward and he was very patient with all our newby questions. The vans are really well looked after and, after a few minutes getting used to the controls, easy to drive. We've got the bug and will definitely be back again.

Fantastic week in Kiwi! Thanks to Rod for his help in making sure we knew how to drive her and how everything worked inside! Loved everything about Kiwi from the new and interesting driving experience to the cosy cooking and sleeping arrangements 😊. Loved it 💚 Could possibly be tempted by a new camper next time, but they just aren't the same!

Took the family away at half term in one of Rods newer T5 campers. Really great experience, booking was really easy, collection was straightforward with a good walk through how to make everything work, and the van was in great condition. I loved it, the kids loved it, and the wife loved it. If you want to rent a camper, you can't go wrong with these folks.
