C & A Johnson have been designing and constructing home extensions in Bristol and Bath and the surrounding areas for over 50 years. Single storey rear extension provided an additional dining area to the property and was constructed using matching face brickwork. 1930s semi detached property with loft conversion and cedar cladding to the exterior dormer finishes. Rear kitchen diner extension is currently underway and completed project photos will be available soon.
This property was completely transformed with the addition of both two storey and single storey extensions to each side elevation. Two storey home extensions exceed the permitted development regulation guidelines and full planning permission is always required for any two storey build to take place.
This detached property in Westbury on Trym Bristol was extended to the rear and side elevations to provide an open plan kitchen extension with separate utility room. We have designed and built single storey extensions tailored to make the most of the increasing demand for BI-folding doors. These designs often include the fitting of atrium or lantern roof designs to maximise the light being made available within the new extension.

We would highly recommend C&A Johnson for a loft conversion. We had our loft converted in 2015 and couldn’t be happier with our new space. C&A Johnson were very helpful through design and planning and we never felt rushed with decisions. The two teams involved in the different stages of the conversion were efficient, very tidy and professional. We were impressed by how they managed to keep mess to a minimum, even when it came to breaking through the loft floor for stair access. One element which stood out for us was how C&A approached finishing the loft bathroom. We decided to use wall boards

We had our loft converted by C&A around a year ago.
The initial design phase was handled by Simon and Charlotte, and once the build progressed Tyrone was our main point of contact during the build.
C&A were excellent at keeping us informed about what to expect and about every phase of the project.
They used specialist trades people such as electricians, plumbers, tilers and plasterers, and everything has been finished to a high standard throughout.
We were particularly pleased with the ensuite which was beautifully finished and tiled.
We only had one or two minor issues which were resolved

C&A Johnson were appointed for our loft conversion project after a very close tendering exercise in which they price matched the lowest quote we had received. We decided to go with them as we were impressed by their approach set out by Simon which inspired confidence that our needs and requests would be accommodated. We have not been disappointed as the standard of service throughout from design and specification through building work to finished details along with project management and administration have been of a very high level.

We have been using C&A Johnson for 9 years, following multiple recommendations from our neighbours.
They originally converted our loft in our previous property, to include a large bedroom with study area, second bathroom and landing. This was an excellent conversion which helped us to the sell the property easily as a result of the added space they designed and built.
Having secured our dream house, Tyrone and his team helped advise us from the beginning as to what building works would be best to undertake and in which order , so to modernise and sympathetically restore our property to its former
