Jon Pritchard Ltd was founded in 2007 after my brother, Ollie, and I converted the loft in my own home. Friends and acquaintances praised the work carried out, and we did a couple more jobs for neighbours. Everyone seemed impressed not only with our work, but with the attitude and service we provided along the way, saying things like "You just don't seem like stereotypical 'builders'"!
The word spread and we saw a niche in the market for loft specialists. Our business quickly went from strength to strength thanks to word-of-mouth, so we brought in Adrian Bartley, an old school friend and professional builder, as our new business partner and Operations Director. He brought invaluable experience, skills and expertise to the business.

After leaving school I played professional rugby for 10 years. During that time I was proud to captain most of the teams I played for. My job took me all over the world and I played in countries including New Zealand, South Africa, Australia and across the USA and Europe.
Working with people from different cultures gave me the skills and values I hold onto today - confidence, respect for others, humility and generally treating people the way I like to be treated. When the time came for a career change, I hit the ground with a bump! I needed a new career and to earn money for my family.

We had a loft conversion (L-shaped) done with Jon Pritchard in late 2019 and we are extremely happy with the work that was done. At every stage, we were in frequent contact via the app and never had any shocks or surprises. The project manager, was excellent, respectful, and went above and beyond to get things done. We got daily updates from him and if we ever had a query, it would be answered very promptly. One of the reasons we went with Jon Pritchard was the ease of app and ability to communicate on it, and there was a competent team of people always able to answer questions. A great experience

We couldn’t be more pleased with our attic conversion. From the outset the process was seamless and end result exceeds our expectation. We have carried out previous extensions to the house; past experiences had been somewhat stressful. Not with Jon Pritchard; the project manager and workmen were good communicators and suggested really creative ideas and finishing touches. For me, the best compliment I can pay, is to say that we enjoyed the experience as much as the end result. We would highly recommend them.

These people have no respect for the neighbourhoods where they work. Their van was parked with the diesel engine running for at least an hour (might have been much more, I had to go out) with two or three employees inside staring at their phones. I asked one of them (he said he was the foreman, though he looks about 14) to switch off the engine as it was polluting the street and there's a primary school just a few steps away. They refused. I asked why, they said it was so they could benefit from the air conditioning. I pointed out that they had all the van windows open, so the benefit was minimal
