Leicestershire Motorcycle Training Partnership welcomes you to the home of CBT, A1, A2, DAS (Direct Access) and Advanced Riding training and test courses in Leicestershire. A minimum of jeans or heavy cotton work trousers and ankle boots will also be required. If you arrive for your course wearing tracksuit bottoms or trainers you will be sent home and your course payment WILL NOT be refunded.
Services
We have been training riders at post test level for the past 24 years in the UK, Ireland and Germany and have for the past 14 years used our expertise and professional skills to get learner riders on the road in Leicestershire, offering Compulsory Basic Motorcycle Training and Full Licence Test courses.
We provide training courses for all riders, whether you have never ridden before or have been riding for many years. Our experience shows there is always more to learn regardless of age or experience. Compulsory Basic Training (CBT), A1, A2, Direct Access (DAS) tests, advanced, back to bikes and rider improvement training courses are all available with our highly qualified instructors.
A CBT, compulsory basic training motorcycle rider training course must be completed by all new licence holders before riding a moped or motorcycle on the road. We conduct CBT courses in Leicester, 5 days a week at various locations, addresses and course structure are shown below. This training course is normally completed in one day, although this is not guaranteed.
If you are under 19 yrs old then your training and tests are conducted on the 125cc machine(A1 licence). If you are over 19 yrs old you can train and test on our 35kw machines(A2 licence). If you have held the A2 licence for 2 years or are over 24 yrs old you can take the Direct Access course on our 50kw machines for an unrestricted full licence.
If you require a CBT and theory then pay 160 on booking. The CBT and/or theory test dates will be arranged with you before booking the 4 day test course. The final payment of 615 is due on completion of the theory test and CBT. This is the point we will discuss options and dates for the 4 day test course.

Absolutely amazing people to train with, Karen was my instructor start to finish and what a women she is! Amazing to train alongside, firm and brutally honest but her training methods work exceptionally.
Passed my MOD1 & MOD2 with these guys and I could not recommend them highly enough!
If your looking to get your bike test or even CBT done I would suggest you use these guys.
Price is unbeatable alongside the quality of training.
All in all an absolute 10/10 place to do any bike training.

We booked on to our CBT in 2014 but never continued to the DAS... this time around did our CBT and went on to DAS.. very professional team both Karen and Jeremy.. they will be hard on you but believe me it's all worth it at the end when you get your pass certificate.. bikes were top quality.. loved every moment... thank you..

Firstly I contacted the company with a limited timeframe in mind to complete the course. Jeremy was my point of contact and he was more than accommodating to help fit me in !
He explained the process and steps we needed to follow and so we did just that theory and then on to CBT then following on from that with training on bigger bikes and then Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests. We had plenty of time on the bikes to practice and this made you feel prepared and ready for your tests.
The bikes that they have are also of a high quality and well maintained. Perfect

I recently did my MOD2 via LMTS and I can honestly say it was brilliant. Fron the very beginning I found them to be incredibly helpful. Jeremy went out of his way to get me a MOD2 test and training when all of the other providers seemed reluctant to even try. Although I didn't do my actual training with Jetemy he's a great guy. Karen is a STAR! After a days full training with her I felt that I had improved and I was more confident riding in a broad range of different riding scenarios. She WILL tell you when you mess up over the radio and there is certainly no "beating around the Bush!". I liked

Great training and very professional.
I had to change my test due to a funeral. But it wasn't a problem. They went out of their way to sort out another test date.
Karen is very hard and she wants 100%.
She knew I was a hgv instructor but that didn't matter to her I was treated just like anyone else and she got the best out of me. I would definitely recommend them without any doubt.

Well where to begin,
Passed my test today (hurray)
Started off booking my tests in for mod 1 and 2 in March and of course our good friend Covid hit and everything was delayed..for 5 months. Jeremy was absolutely on the ball with communication with me every step of the way, letting me know if anything changed or time frames of when to expect a test.
Karen was my instructor, I can’t thank her enough for grilling into myself and another rider on what the examiners will expect and if we got it wrong she would show us the correct way of doing it until it was mastered. She is that good that my poor

If you are looking for praise and flattery then look elsewhere. However if you want top quality motorcycle training then this is the place to go. Jeremy and Karen offer absolute commitment to their clients and give very carefully considered bespoke advice to each individual. Five days from complete novice to a full licence is the evidence. I don't normally do recommendations (or reviews) but I have no hesitation in doing so for Leicestershire Motorcycle Training. A great experience.
